Our pool is 25 metres with six lanes, each with starting blocks and turning boards that can be installed when needed, ideal for competitions. There is plenty of opportunity to take part, whether you are student, family, or a member of our wider community.
Swimming pool timetable
The pool timetable is subject to change to accommodate academic use, event hire, private bookings and maintenance. No membership refund will be offered in lieu of these closure periods or future alterations to the timetable. Public swim sessions may be for full or half pool access (please see our printed timetable or contact our reception for further information on these sessions). The Health Suite opening times replicate that of the pool, except for when there are full pool bookings.

We have a variety of memberships available which include swimming as part of their benefits.
Free Swimming for Pregnant staff – staff who are currently pregnant can access a free Active Plus membership for entry to any public swim sessions. More information is included on our memberships page.
